About The Role
An exciting opportunity to join a global Independent Power Producer (IPP) focused on accelerating the clean energy transition. As Procurement Manager – BESS, you will lead sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and contract management for Battery Energy Storage Systems across a growing European portfolio. This role combines commercial leadership with supply chain expertise, offering the chance to shape procurement in one of the most dynamic sectors in renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for BESS projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead tendering, supplier selection, and contract negotiations for equipment and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with EPCs, OEMs, and technology providers.
  • Collaborate with engineering, legal, and project delivery teams to align technical and commercial requirements.
  • Monitor global supply chain risks, market dynamics, and cost trends in the energy storage sector.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, industry standards, and ESG commitments.
  • Drive continuous process improvements, focusing on supplier performance and cost optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of procurement experience, ideally in renewable energy, energy storage, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven expertise in contract management, supplier negotiations, and international sourcing.
  • Knowledge of BESS technologies, supply chain players, and procurement challenges.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English; French proficiency is highly advantageous.
