Job Description
Scienta Lab is seeking a Machine Learning Engineering Intern to help build and scale our data, pre-training, fine-tuning, and evaluation pipelines. You will join our technical team-comprising data engineers, ML engineers, and computational biologist, and contribute to the team's day-to-day missions, including:
- Developing, maintaining, and optimizing data flows, models, and ML pipelines
- Turning scientific and technical innovations into robust software components
- Integrating ML models and algorithms with our product backend and internal APIs
- Running and monitoring ML experiments, ensuring reproducibility and efficiency
Preferred Experience
- Master's student (or equivalent) with strong ML or software engineering background
- Proficient in Python and modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, HuggingFace…)
- Experience with training and evaluating deep learning models at scale
- Strong problem-solving and experimental design mindset
- Comfortable working independently on exploratory, open-ended projects
- Curious about intelligent systems, reasoning, and automation
- Thrives in a fast-paced, research-driven environment
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
