Job Description
We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst Data & AI who combines analytical precision, client leadership, and technical depth. You will act as the vital link between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business needs into scalable data and AI solutions.

The role requires a strong grasp of data processes, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and the skill to align strategic business goals with technical realities. You will serve as the "translator," ensuring that our AI implementations solve the right problems and deliver tangible value from concept to go-live.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis or Requirements Engineering within a tech-enabled environment (Consulting experience is a strong plus).
• Solid grasp of Agile methodologies(Scrum, Kanban / SAFe); certification (e.g., CSPO, PSPO) is a plus.
• Formal BA certification (e.g., IREB, CBAP, or CCBA) is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business stakeholders and vice versa.
• Technical Literacy: Ability to read data models, understand API specifications, and perform basic data querying
• Ability to critically assess and challenge existing processes and workflows, redesigning them to leverage AI-native approaches
• Fluent in French and English; German is a plus.
• Familiarity with the French enterprise environment, ideally with a network or domain knowledge in Banking or Insurance.
• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• Comfortable working onsite with clients when needed, primarily within Paris.

Job Responsibilities

• Bridge Business & Tech: Act as the primary translator between business stakeholders and data scientists/engineers, ensuring technical deliverables match business intent.
• Requirements Engineering: Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of requirements (functional & non-functional) for complex AI and data projects.
• Process & Data Modeling: Analyze current state (AS-IS) processes and design future state (TO-BE) data-driven workflows using industry standards (e.g., BPMN).
• Solution Shaping: Collaborate with Tech Leads and Architects to define solution designs, focusing on data feasibility, API integrations, and model outputs.
• Data Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis and data profiling to assess quality and feasibility before development begins.
• Backlog Management: Own the product backlog in agile setups; write sharp user stories, define acceptance criteria, and manage prioritization.
• Testing & Validation: Support the QA phase by validating model results against business metrics and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Pre-Sales Support: Contribute to proposals by identifying high-value use cases, scoping requirements, and estimating analytical efforts.
• Methodology: Continuously improve BA best practices (templates, workshops, documentation standards) within the company.
