In which structure will you work as an Automation Engineer? We are looking for an Automation Engineer for one of our clients in the industrial sector, based in Brittany.Automation Engineer: What will be your missions and responsibilities? Participate in design reviews and project kick-offs. Conduct functional analysis of installations and develop PLC programs, human-machine interfaces, and automation networks. Commission machines in the workshop and on client sites, perform adjustments, testing, and acceptance. Present technical specifications to clients and provide training on usage. Provide and update the technical documentation required for machine files. Provide client technical support: diagnostics, remote or on-site troubleshooting (automation, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, software). Manage corrective and preventive maintenance interventions. Update the failure and CSI ticket database, track interventions, and record machine updates. Develop tools and best practices to improve service efficiency (checklists, operating procedures, reference guides). Repair and restore electrical, electronic, pneumatic, or hydraulic equipment. Implement equipment modifications according to evolving standards. Provide remote technical support to users. What profile and skills are required for this Automation Engineer position? Degree Bac+2/3 to Bac+5 in automation, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or equivalent. Proven skills in PLC programming and commissioning of automated installations. Autonomy, service orientation, and availability for travel in France and internationally. Proficiency in English is essential. Solid knowledge in industrial electricity, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Ability to diagnose and resolve complex malfunctions. Interested in this position?
