Join our team of smart and curious people as we help shape the future of pan-European payments.The position We are looking for a 1 year (subject to extension) VIE Project Manager Assistant within our Service Development & Management unit, starting immediately. The candidate will be reporting to the Head of New Initiatives and will be working within the New Initiatives team.The New Initiatives team is a small team working across services within Service Development & Management. Its role is to support the definition and implementation of strategic evolutions of services and functionalities. The team manages projects, in close relationship with other teams and EBA CLEARING's strategic providers. Topics in scope of New Initiatives are varied - current focus is on fraud fighting and instant cross-border payments. The team is also closely involved in relationships with Banks participating in EBA CLEARING's services, and in external communication activities (participation in events, presentations, etc).Before applying for this position, which is based inBrussels (Belgium), or Frankfurt (Germany), please ensure that you are already authorised to work in the European Union and you meet the VIE criteria. Your responsibilities will include:Support the project management activities of the New Initiatives team, for example providing support in: Planning managementChange managementIssue managementProject governanceManagement reporting Contribute to the preparation and review of the teams deliverables - project artifacts, notes, documentation...Support the other activities of the team, based on prioritiesContribute to research, analysis and material preparation, for the team's stakeholders - senior management, participating Banks...Participate in, and support the teams activities - weekly touch points, organization and prioritization of tasksRequirements:have a level of education which corresponds to a completed university degree in banking, business administration, operational management or IT technologyhave a good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook be fluent in English (in written and spoken form), an additional European language would be a plusPrevious exposure to project management will be a plusmeet the VIE criteriaThe VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria. To meet the VIE Main Requirements, candidates must be European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) be graduates up to 28 years old have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if applicablebe fluent in English.
