As demand for secure applications grows in industries like automotive, medical, energy, and IoT, we're adapting our proven technologies to assist a new generation of developers.Our 150 global experts based in the US, France, Germany, the UK, and Estonia, collectively develop cutting-edge technologies to address the challenges of high-grade software development.Joining AdaCore is about joining a culture of innovation, openness, collaboration and dependability, which defines how we work together, with our customers and partners.The AdaCore Product Engineering subdepartment is looking for a Senior Project Manager to help handle the steady stream of software development proposals and contracts that AdaCore engages in, notably in the Toolchain area, but not only.Responsibilities include:Prior to the actual project execution, we expect Project Managers to participate in early discussions intended to estimate development efforts and timelines, help define the project's tasks, and gather the candidate team of engineers who will do the work.Once a project has started, the Project Manager is responsible for delivering contractual items on schedule and within the budget as much as possible. To this end, Project Managers set up everything that will let them plan and oversee the actual development activity, track milestones and efforts, provide guidance to developers, and handle contractual deliveries. They also act as the main contact point for stakeholders and anticipate drifts in schedule or cost. To ensure the project's successful execution, Project Managers can count on the support of our team of technical experts.Qualifications: This position requires a solid technical backgroundIn order to appreciate the projects' contents and challenges, experience in compilation toolchains and code analysis tools is a strong plusYou have at least 5 years of experience in project management, can demonstrate organizational and human management abilities, and are able to adapt to evolving methodologies and environmentsHaving a certificate or prior experience with a widely known project management framework, such as SCRUM or PRINCE2, is another strong plus.Beyond the jobWe're a global organization driven by diverse backgrounds, fostering innovation through an open exchange of ideas.
