Looking for a Level 2 Network Engineer to provide advanced support for enterprise network operations. This role focuses on managing L2/L3 incidents, maintaining network stability, assisting with configuration changes, and supporting infrastructure upgrades.ResponsibilitiesProvide L2 support for escalated network issues (LAN/WAN/WLAN)Troubleshoot routing, switching, and firewall-related incidentsPerform configuration updates on routers, switches, and firewallsMonitor network performance and respond to alertsSupport VPN configurations, ACL changes, and security policiesCoordinate with ISPs/vendors for circuit-related issuesAssist with network migrations, upgrades, and deploymentsMaintain accurate network documentation and topology diagramsConduct routine network health checks and capacity monitoringRequired SkillsStrong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGPHands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper/Aruba switches and routersSolid firewall knowledge (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA)Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix)Good understanding of DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN technologiesStrong troubleshooting and analysis abilitiesPreferred SkillsCertifications like CCNA/CCNP (Routing & Switching or Security)Experience with SD-WAN solutionsExposure to cloud networking (AWS/Azure)Basic scripting (Python/Bash) for automationSoft SkillsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesGood documentation and time-management skillsAbility to work under pressure during outages
