Join 6WIND, leading provider of virtualized and cloud-native networking solutions, and help us shape the future of the Internet by building first-class innovative and high-performance networking technologies.As a Network Consulting Engineer, you'll be at the frontline of customer success – solving real-world problems with international customers, learning from experienced teammates, and growing fast in a supportive and innovative environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist 6WIND customers worldwide (telecom operators, cloud providers, enterprises) in deploying the Virtual Service Router (VSR) product suite and the Host Network Accelerator (HNA) and implement their various use cases.Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisorTroubleshoot network equipment and complex networking issues in customer environmentsConduct comprehensive training sessions for 6WIND new customers on our solutions and best practicesParticipate in product definition by writing functional specifications and beta test plansFollow-up with R&D on new feature implementation to ensure respect of the specificationsSupport presales activities in offering comprehensive solutions meeting prospects expectations including PoCsLead consulting engagements on customer network architectures and advise on how to design efficient, scalable, and optimized architectures using 6WIND solutions.Required skills and experienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, Telecommunications, or a related field6+ years of experience in Network advanced support engineering, technical account management, or a similar customer-facing technical roleStrong understanding of Networking protocols and technologies: IPv4, IPv6, IPsec, VXLAN, MPLS, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), configuration and automation tools (Netconf, Ansible), monitoring solutions (SNMP, Grafana, Kafka)Hands-on experience with network configuration and administration in Linux/Unix environmentsStrong analytical skills and a willingness to investigate complex technical problems with a high level of ownership and commitmentFluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics to different audiencesProven ability to work effectively in a team, with a positive attitude, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast changing environmentHands-on experience on virtualized (KVM, Openstack, VMWare) and/or containerized (Kubernetes, OpenShift) environments is a plusWhy Join 6WIND?Play a central role in high-impact, cutting-edge network technology projectsFlexible working options: hybrid (2 remote days per week) or full remote (France-based) with quarterly travel to the French HQSupportive environment: mentorship, professional growth, and a close-knit, expert team.Attractive compensation package
