The EDHEC Quantum Institute (EQI) is a pioneering initiative launched by EDHEC Business School to translate quantum innovations into concrete solutions for business and society. Its mission is to bridge quantum science with the business world, fostering sustainable and responsible growth.EDHEC Quantum Institute is recruiting a Deputy Director M/F in Nice.Main tasks The Deputy Director supports the Director of the EDHEC Quantum Institute in overseeing and coordinating research, education, innovation, and communication activities. Positioned to take over the leadership of the Institute in the medium term, this role is strategic for ensuring its sustainability and enhancing its visibility.Lead and coordinate research programs in collaboration with program managers.Supervise all academic activities and partnership collaborations.Develop and foster strategic partnerships with academic and industry stakeholders.Contribute to the design and teaching of specialized programs.Support the emergence of startups and promote technological innovation within the Institute.Represent the Institute at conferences, seminars, and public events.Prepare to assume the overall leadership of the Institute in the medium term.Profil Graduate from a leading scientific institution (ENS, École Polytechnique, CentraleSupélec, Mines ParisTech, etc.) or equivalent in France or abroad, followed by a PhD in quantum physics or a related discipline and one or two postdoctoral experiences with international exposure.Proven experience in the quantum technology industry.Demonstrated skills in project management and leadership.Strong ability to develop academic and industrial partnerships.Excellent communication skills with diverse audiences (scientists, decision-makers, students, media).Fluent or native English.
