The HSE Project Officer provides reinforced on‑site safety supervision for an overhead line rehabilitation project in a peri‑urban environment. The role focuses on monitoring preventive measures, supporting project teams, and ensuring strong control of risks affecting workers and third parties.
- Conduct planned HSE site inspections in coordination with project management.
- Assess compliance with operating procedures, risk analyses, PAQE, Prevention Plans, PGO, and safety reviews.
- Issue weekly HSE reports covering third‑party risks, POEME situations, and Life‑Saving Rules compliance.
- Immediately report critical safety deviations.
- Recommend enhancements to preventive measures and support continuous improvement.
- Participate in contractor safety briefings, incident analyses, and joint inspections.
- Deliver a global HSE Return of Experience (REX) at project completion.
- Proven HSE experience
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Experience in overhead line projects (HSE, works execution, or site organisation)
- Solid command of risk analysis tools, audits, REX, prevention plans
- Excellent communication and safety awareness capabilities
- Emotional control and ability to manage urgent situations
- Strong writing and analytical skills
- Driving licence (B)
- H0V B0 and PASS HTB (supervisor level) desired
- Fluent in French
