We’re looking for someone who wants to test, build, optimize, and see the direct impact of their actions.

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will play a crucial role in the ORIS organization, which operates within a multicultural, international environment characterized by diverse backgrounds. English serves as the primary communication language, and we employ an agile collaboration methodology, specifically utilizing the Kanban framework. Your responsibilities include developing high-quality TypeScript React applications, collaborate with a high-performing team of frontend-engineers, supporting cross-functional teams with technical expertise, and ensuring that our products not only look great but also function flawlessly.

Working closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams, you will translate business requirements into microfrontend applications inside a monorepo using Material UI and Storybook to achieve a scalable and consitent user experience.

This is a permanent position based at ORIS offices near the Part-Dieu train station in Lyon, within a collaborative team focused on building practical, high-quality software and AI capabilities for the company and its customers.

TypeScript React Development:

Design, implement, and maintain our React applications ensuring they meet our architectural standards. microfrontends sound familiar to you and you have experience with webpack or vite.
Collaborate closely with design and product teams to turn mockups and user stories into beautiful, responsive, and functional user interfaces. Implement design system with Material UI and Storybook

Testing:

Write and maintain unit tests to ensure the quality of the applications.
Collaborate with the QA team to address and resolve defects and issues.
Advice QA team on integration test & end-2-end tests

Architectural Standards:

Ensure adherence to the company’s architectural and coding standards like microfrontend architectures, RESTful Interfaces and hosting SPA on AWS.
Introduce and maintain new applications as part of a monorepo.
Seek opportunities to refactor and optimize code for performance and scalability.
Contribute with new ideas, technology and development patterns

Support and Collaboration:

Assist other departments in the organization with technical topics, providing insights and solutions
Work in tandem with backend developers to integrate APIs and services.

Continuous Learning:

Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in frontend development and the tech stack we use.
Participate in internal training sessions, workshops, and code reviews.
Seek opportunities to apply AI in your development process and integrate AI into the product.
