Role Purpose
The MSc – Specialised Masters Group Marketing Manager contributes to defining and coordinates the European marketing strategy for ESCP Business School’s portfolio of Specialised Masters programmes, in alignment with and subject to validation by the Group Marketing Associate Director and Group Marketing Director.
The role ensures consistency throughout the marketing cycle, from strategic planning to operational implementation across campuses, while addressing each programme’s specific positioning and recruitment objectives. The position contributes to increasing programme awareness, generating and nurturing prospective candidate interest, and supporting enrolment growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Contribute to defining the global marketing strategy and priorities for the MSc – Specialised Masters portfolio.
- Develop the annual marketing and media plan template and provide strategic guidelines to local teams.
- Consolidate campus inputs to build a unified global marketing plan.
- Coordinate semester reviews and ensure ongoing updates to marketing and communication plans.
- Support the launch, positioning and growth of new programmes.
Content, Communications & Digital Marketing
- Develop and maintain market and competitor analyses to inform programme positioning and strategic decision-making.
- Create a global editorial and communications framework aligned with the candidate journey.
- Oversee programme webpages and their optimisation for SEO, user experience and conversion.
- Coordinate articles, student and alumni stories, testimonials and faculty content.
- Build and maintain a centralised marketing content library.
- Coordinate the creation and updating of print and digital marketing assets.
- Develop branded communication templates and digital assets for campuses.
- Coordinate social media content production across the portfolio.
- Support local teams in producing high-quality content involving students, alumni, faculty and corporate partners.
Campaigns & Results Monitoring
- Design and supervise cross-campus awareness, lead generation and lead nurturing campaigns.
- Use clearly defined KPIs and data to continuously monitor results and optimise marketing activities.
- Ensure alignment between local marketing plans, recruitment targets and budgets.
- Manage the assigned programme marketing budget.
- Identify cross-programme campaign opportunities and marketing synergies.
Supplier & Partner Management
- Identify, brief and manage agencies, media partners, creative studios and digital suppliers.
- Evaluate proposals, negotiate contracts and ensure delivery meets deadlines, budgets and brand requirements.
- Monitor the quality and results of supplier activity to ensure alignment with objectives.
European Coordination
- Coordinate European MSc marketing teams to ensure implementation of the global strategy, facilitate collaboration and encourage the sharing of best practices.
- Ensure campuses have the tools, materials and support required to achieve recruitment objectives.
- Coordinate the European fairs and events calendar with local marketing teams and Programme Management.
- Collaborate closely with Recruitment, Admissions, Programme Management, Communications and other Group Marketing Managers.
Innovation & Reporting
- Coordinate digital innovation projects, including AI chatbots, marketing automation and new digital tools.
- Explore new communication formats, technologies and candidate engagement approaches.
- Monitor market trends and digital marketing best practices.
- Create and maintain weekly and monthly dashboards to support management decision-making.
- Monitor marketing results and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
- Ensure high-quality CRM data and analyse campaign and event results to generate actionable insights.
Profile required
Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
- 4–7 years of marketing or digital marketing experience in an international environment; Higher Education experience is an asset.
- Experience managing multi-country marketing activities and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Fluent English and French, written and spoken; additional European languages are an asset.
- Experience managing external agencies, suppliers and media partners.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, analytics platforms and CRM systems.
- Ability to organise and coordinate complex projects and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to use data to inform decisions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in an international and intercultural environment.
- Ability to contribute to strategic direction while ensuring effective operational implementation.
- Ability to engage and coordinate multiple stakeholders without direct reporting relationships.
- Ability to organise work, determine priorities and required tasks, and deliver them in a fast-paced international environment.
- Interest in education, internationalisation and improving the student experience.
