* Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose faults, replace parts, and resolve issues quickly to minimize downtime.
* Operations: Execute preventive maintenance routines and assist with spare parts inventory tracking.
* Integration & Testing: Perform wiring, soldering, sensor/actuator integration, and initial bring-up.
* Deployment: Prepare, calibrate, test, and pack hardware for field deployment.
* Technical Support: Troubleshoot teleoperation stations to maintain operator productivity.
* Continuous Improvement: Partner with engineers to optimize hardware designs for reliability and ease of assembly.
* Documentation: Maintain clear build logs, modification histories, and standard maintenance procedures. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
* Technical Experience (+5 years): Proven track record in electromechanical assembly, maintenance, and repair (robotics, automotive, or automation).
* Background: Technical degree (CAP, Bac Pro, BTS, or equivalent) or a strong self-taught maker background.
* Core
Skills:
Proficiency in mechanical assembly, wiring, soldering, and systematic troubleshooting.
* Bonus
Skills:
Familiarity with basic CAD (SolidWorks, Onshape, Fusion 360), workshop tools, and 3D printing.
* Mindset: Practical, curious, and detail-oriented with a focus on problem-solving.
* Work Style: Autonomous, methodical, and committed to clear documentation and traceability.
* Adaptability: Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
* Languages: Fluent in English.
* Details: Position based in central Paris, permanent executive contract. UMA is an inclusive workplace that values exceptional builders over perfect pedigrees.
