* The study and development of new state-of-the-art algorithms
* Optimization of the algorithms
* Performance measurement and analysis
* Technology watch and analysis of the state of the art of research
* Expertise to analyze problems encountered in the field, and win benchmarks
* Support to operational teams to define the best customized solutions for specific customers
* Support to integration in environments as diverse as professional servers in the cloud or on-premises, embedded devices, or smartphones The scope of application will depend on the candidate's previous experience and potential opportunities within IDEMIA Public Security. Education:
PhD or Engineering School.
* First significant experience in image processing, computer vision, deep learning
* Strong background in mathematics, data analysis
* Proficiency with python. Experience with C/C++ will be a plus
* Ability to handle large amounts of data and work in a research environment, i.e. in an unfamiliar field
* Knowledge of biometrics will be a plus
* Curious
* Proactive, autonomous
* Results and solution oriented
* Clear and convincing communication
* Fluent in written and spoken French and English The position is based in Osny 95 near Cergy Prefecture.
