Intern, you’re not just supporting sales operations and lead generation to help
drive new business – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by
delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Here's
what you'll do
during a typical day:
* Facilitate communication between hotels, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Assist in preparing updates, reports, and presentations on procurement activities.
* Respond to requests from hotels, work with approved suppliers to source products, and conduct price benchmarks.
* Organize activities, deadlines, administrative tasks, and documentation.
* Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and other support for hotels.
* Track the progress of tasks and ensure deadlines are met. Maintain structured and accessible documentation.
* Assist hotels in using the procurement platform: BirchStreet is the software available to hotels: training, creating new users, assisting with updating online catalogs, support for adding new suppliers to the platform…
* Help improve the supplier guide/service guide: tools listing all suppliers listed in the central database (products, terms, free shipping, delivery frequency…)
* Improve the information provided to hotels (newsletters, organizing product trials, sending out questionnaires, etc.)
* Work on HSM sales presentations and improve their content.
* Assist with the integration of new hotels into the system by participating in the integration process.
* Notify all suppliers about the new affiliated hotel.
* Identify the new hotel’s needs.
* Train teams on the platform.
* Organize and participate in supplier “speed dating” sessions.
* Follow up after integration and the go-live to ensure that the hotel’s teams fully understand how HSM works. QUALIFICATIONS You are a dynamic, curious person with excellent interpersonal skills. You enjoy interacting with a diverse range of people, understanding their needs, and building lasting relationships based on trust—with clients, partners, and internal teams alike. Organized and self-reliant, you can manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a rigorous approach to following up on your work. Comfortable with numbers and analysis, you are able to identify opportunities and actively contribute to business growth. Excellent proficiency in French (French-speaking required) and English, both written and spoken, is essential. You are also comfortable using IT tools and internal processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required. Knowledge of CRM tools, particularly Salesforce, is a plus. Flexible and proactive, you thrive in a constantly changing environment. You are available for a 6-month internship.
