Within the Broadband team, the assigned responsibilities will involve working on
IT racks in a server room as part of the installation of new equipment and the
maintenance of existing infrastructure.
What You Will Be Doing :
* Install equipment in technical cabinets.
* Set up and test physical connections on the Broadband Lab’s IT network.
* Perform first-level configuration on equipment to make installations operational.
* Update documentation (Visio diagrams, Confluence pages, etc.).
* Check and update labeling on equipment.
* Participate in inventory tracking and troubleshooting operations. The network technologies used include optical fiber and coaxial, within the context of telecommunications operator networks. What You Should Have :
* Student enrolled in a 2 or 3 years university technical degree in Networks and Telecommunications (or equivalent), motivated by hands-on learning in a data center environment.
* Curious, with knowledge of network equipment and IT infrastructure.
* Detail-oriented, analytical, and a good communicator.
* A good level of English is appreciated.
