Population Health Informaticist (AI Training)
About The Role
At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research teams and labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models. We're looking for Population Health Informaticists to apply their expertise to AI projects focused on improving how AI understands and reasons about population-level health data, trends, and interventions. Your domain knowledge will directly shape how AI systems handle real-world public health challenges — from identifying health disparities to supporting data-driven decision-making at scale. Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
Evaluate and improve AI-generated analyses involving population health metrics, epidemiological trends, and health disparities Review and validate AI outputs related to public health data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting frameworks Identify gaps, inaccuracies, or missed opportunities in AI-generated population health strategies and recommendations Provide structured expert feedback to help AI systems reason more accurately about health outcomes at community and population scale Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule Who You Are Experienced working with healthcare, public health, or population-level datasets Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of health metrics, surveillance systems, and epidemiological methods Comfortable translating complex data insights into clear, actionable assessments Skilled in data visualization, dashboards, or health reporting frameworks Detail-oriented and able to follow structured evaluation guidelines No prior AI experience required — your public health expertise is what matters Nice to Have Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation workflows Background in public health informatics, biostatistics, or health policy Familiarity with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or population health platforms Why Join Us Work on cutting-edge AI projects with top research labs and teams Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration Contribute to meaningful work that helps AI better understand and support public health Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
