The role
We are looking for a motivated intern to join our ICC DRS Documentation and Research Centre for a period of 6-months.
Your responsibilities and learning opportunities include:
Reading and analysing ICC arbitral awards and diverse working documents both in English and French;
Entering data in databases;
Assisting in carrying out research on a wide range of topics in international commercial arbitration;
Compiling and updating existing statistics and assisting with creating new statistics upon demand;
Preparing and updating PowerPoint presentations;
Drafting briefs for members of the ICC Secretariat’s case management teams as well as the Managing team of the ICC International Court of Arbitration.

Requirements Do not hesitate to apply if you: Enjoy the legal research work. Preference will be given to students in international commercial law arbitration with strong academic credentials. This is an ideal position for students who are preparing their bar exams. Enjoy working in an international dynamic environment with a strong team spirit; Are meticulous in carrying out required duties; Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Have outstanding communications and interpersonal skills; Are fluent in English and French. The knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese and German and/or any other language would be a plus. Terms and conditions Important information before applying: You must still be registered as a student during the time of the internship. Nationals from outside the European Union or Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Monaco, or Switzerland must hold an appropriate visa from the French consulate. Non-EU residents are required to have valid papers before applying (long-stay student visa and/or carte de séjour) allowing them to work in France. Interns are required to handle their own travel and accommodation arrangements for the duration of their internship. ICC does not provide scholarships or fellowships. Based at ICC Global Headquarters in Paris our six-month internship programme is full-time with an average working week of 35 hours.
