We are seeking a highly analytical and numbers-driven Project Management Officer (PMO) to manage the technical and operational integration of a recently acquired structure within the financial sector. The primary objective of this role is to orchestrate the seamless onboarding of this new entity onto our proprietary tools and IT platforms.
We are specifically looking for a forward-thinking professional who actively leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to optimize PMO tasks, automate reporting, and enhance data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess robust financial acumen, exceptional KPI-tracking capabilities, and a strong background in IT and software development environments.
Key Responsibilities
Integration & Transformation: Lead critical IT and business workstreams dedicated to integrating the acquired organization, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption of internal tools and systems. AI-Driven Efficiency: Utilize AI-powered tools and methodologies to automate routine PMO tasks, enhance predictive budget forecasting, and streamline reporting processes. Financial & Budget Management: Actively track, forecast, and manage project budgets, including vendor expenses, consulting support, and workload sizing. Governance & Reporting: Coordinate architecture and steering committees, ensuring systematic, high-quality review and validation of project designs, budgets, and timelines. Process Improvement: Work closely with cross-functional teams (IT, Architecture, Business) to refine project data governance, identify lead architects, and standardize integration phases. Stakeholder Alignment: Represent the project in bi-weekly architecture and monthly IT management meetings to ensure alignment on delivery plans, budget adherence, and continuous improvement goals. Required Expertise & Skills
Experience:
3+ years in Project Management/PMO, specifically within the financial services industry. AI Proficiency (Mandatory): Proven practical experience using modern AI tools (e.g., MS Copilot, ChatGPT, AI-driven features in Jira/Atlassian, AI data modeling) to optimize project management workflows, generate insights, and draft documentation. Financial & Analytical Acumen: Exceptional ability to manage budgets, define complex KPIs, and perform precise workload forecasting. IT & Architecture Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC), ITIL, Cloud/On-premises infrastructure, Data Management, and DevSecOps. Technical Tools: Power BI, Jira, Confluence, and advanced MS Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint). Querying & Scripting: Strong querying capabilities (JQL, Power Queries); foundational programming/scripting knowledge (Python, Git) or CI/CD experience is a strong plus. Key Deliverables Dashboards & Analytics: Advanced, AI-enhanced Power BI reports and automated KPI dashboards tracking integration progress and budget burn rates. Executive Reporting: Comprehensive Steering Committee presentations, meeting minutes, and standardized project updates in the PM Application (accelerated via AI drafting). Financial Forecasts: Accurate workload forecast updates (e.g., in Runn) and vendor budget logs. Risk Management: Detailed risk and issue logs with actionable financial and operational mitigation plans. Documentation: Highly organized integration roadmaps, scope definitions, and technical repositories housed in SharePoint and Confluence.
