About The Role
What if your voice could directly shape how AI speaks to millions of French speakers around the world? We're looking for talented French voice actors and voice-over professionals to record high-quality audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping the next generation of AI systems sound natural, expressive, and authentically human. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just a commanding French voice, professional delivery, and a sharp ear for what sounds right. Remote Commitment: Flexible, work on your own schedule This role supports AI speech development and does not involve any voice cloning activities.
What You'll Do
Record clear, high-fidelity French audio using provided scripts and prompts Evaluate AI-generated speech for naturalness, accuracy, tone, and expressiveness Provide structured, constructive feedback to improve synthesized voice quality Review and refine scripts to ensure they sound natural and are easy to deliver Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule Who You Are Full fluency in spoken French — native or near-native speakers strongly preferred Prior experience in voice acting, narration, audiobooks, dubbing, or comparable audio work Access to professional recording equipment and a quiet, controlled recording environment Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated performances consistently Sharp ear for pronunciation, tone, pacing, and overall audio clarity Detail-oriented when evaluating and providing feedback on speech quality No AI or tech background required Nice to Have Experience across multiple voice acting styles — commercial, narrative, character, or instructional Familiarity with audio editing tools or DAW software Knowledge of regional French variations — European, Canadian, African, or otherwise Background in linguistics, communications, or broadcast media Prior exposure to AI voice evaluation or speech data projects Why Join Us Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs and Fortune 500 companies Fully remote and flexible — record and review on a schedule that works for you Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based work Make a direct, tangible impact on how AI speaks French to the world High performers may take on expanded responsibilities and mentor incoming contributors Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
