About The Role
As an Associate HR Business Partner within the Human Capital Group based in Paris, France, you will play a pivotal role in supporting HR functions across the organization. Reporting to the Regional HR Business Partner, EMEA, you will work closely with corporate teams and business lines to provide practical HR guidance while ensuring compliance with France's complex regulatory landscape. Your collaboration with the HCG Legal team, which specializes in employment law, will be essential in managing various HR matters. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of the financial services industry, particularly investment banking, and the agility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Your efforts will contribute to fostering a high-performance culture, supporting international expansion, and ensuring HR processes align with legal and organizational standards. Qualifications Fluency in French and proficiency in English Experience as an HR Coordinator or HR Advisor within the financial services industry, preferably investment banking Knowledge of financial services regulations and employment laws in France Relevant HR certifications (preferred) Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Proactive attitude with resilience and diligence Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure Proficiency in MS Office and experience with HR systems and data analytics Flexibility to work independently and collaboratively across teams High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism Responsibilities Collaborate with HR colleagues, including Payroll, Benefits, and Operations teams, to support the entire employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to development, retention, and off-boarding Handle employee leaves of absence, accommodation requests, compensation issues, performance management, mobility, and terminations Build and maintain effective relationships with business leaders, department heads, and compliance functions Serve as a primary contact for employee HR policy questions and escalate issues to the Regional HR Business Partner as needed Work with the HCG Legal team and regional partners to manage HR issues such as time and absence tracking, disciplinary investigations, policy adherence, and employment initiatives Support HR documentation, maintain employee records, and manage HR databases Assist in delivering cross-functional projects, including policy updates and employee handbook revisions Contribute to the company's international growth through HR due diligence and post-acquisition integration of employees Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies in the Paris office Use HR data and analytics to support decision-making and improve business performance Coordinate with Office Management to support in-office needs and employee support services Participate in performance review cycles and ensure timely completion of all related processes Maintain up-to-date HR systems and procedures, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality Benefits Competitive salary package Comprehensive health and wellness benefits Opportunities for professional development and training Participation in international projects and initiatives Supportive and collaborative work environment Flexible working arrangements Contributions to a high-performance organizational culture Equal Opportunity We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
