Job Summary The Project Manager for Innovation and Lifecycle Management (LCM) at Cooper Consumer Health International (CCHI) is responsible for leading cross-functional projects that drive product innovation, portfolio growth, and lifecycle optimization. This role ensures successful execution of new product development, reformulations, line extensions, packaging updates, and product discontinuations while aligning with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and consumer needs. The position works closely with R&D, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance within CCHI project governance methodology.
Key Responsibilities
Innovation Project Management Lead end-to-end innovation or geo-expansion projects from initial business case approved through commercialization in line with CCHI project governance model. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones, deliverables, and timelines are achieved. Manage stage-gate process for innovation or geo-expansion initiatives, including aggregation projects for management review. Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies and track progress. Product Lifecycle Management Oversee lifecycle activities for existing consumer healthcare products, including tech transfer, reformulation, packaging or artwork change, and product discontinuation. Ensure alignment of lifecycle strategies with business growth and portfolio objectives. Collaboration with CCH Group LCM Team for flawless project management and delivery for CCH International Team (incl Commercial, Regulatory, Supply, QA). Track product performance and recommend improvement initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as the primary liaison among R&D, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain, LCM and Artwork Management teams – at Group and Regional level. Facilitate project governance meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders. Align internal teams and external vendors on project priorities and deliverables. Qualifications & Experience 3+ years of experience in project management, innovation, product development, or lifecycle management within the consumer healthcare, pharmaceutical, FMCG, or medical products industry. Proven experience managing cross-functional product launch or lifecycle projects. Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent) is an advantage. Familiarity with consumer healthcare regulations and product development processes. Required Skills & Competencies Strong project management and organizational skills. Knowledge of stage-gate innovation processes and lifecycle management methodologies (onboarding to CCH International process will be provided). Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving and hands-on capabilities. Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Wrike, Shibumi, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
