Since its creation in 2018, the company has already grown substantially. Our team gathers more than 25 engineering expertise, from hardware design to software development & data science. In 2026, Aerospacelab counts offices in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium), Toulouse (France), Lausanne (Switzerland) and US West Coast with more than 450 full-time employees, with the ambition to position itself as the European leader in small satellites. Role Overview Aerospacelab France’s HR has so far been managed from our Belgian headquarters. With our Toulouse site now counting around 25 employees and significant growth ahead, we are creating our first on-site HR position. As HR Business Partner France, you are the local HR point of reference for the site and the relay of the Group HR team — a hands-on, full-scope role covering HR administration, payroll, health & safety and social dialogue, reporting to Group HR management in Belgium and working closely with Toulouse site management. Act as the first HR point of contact for all employees and managers on site Manage the full employee lifecycle: contracts and amendments, DPAE, onboarding to offboarding Own payroll coordination with our external payroll provider: monthly variable elements, controls, reliability of payslips and DSN declarations Manage working time and absences (paid leave, RTT, sick leave) Ensure compliance with French labour law and the applicable collective bargaining agreement, and anticipate headcount-threshold obligations as the site grows Own the HR side of health, safety & prevention: DUERP updates, prevention programme, relationship with the occupational health service (SPST), work accident management (AT/MP) Own employee relations and social dialogue: organise professional elections when due, maintain the site’s social documentation, and structure the social dialogue as the site grows Support recruitment for the site with hiring managers and the Group Talent Acquisition team, and run the local onboarding of new joiners Contribute to group-wide HR cycles and cross-functional projects (salary review, HRIS, comp & ben, international mobility) alongside the Belgian and Swiss teams Occasional travel to our headquarters in Belgium Must Have Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in a generalist HR role in France, ideally in an industrial or tech environment Master’s degree in Human Resources, labour/social law or related field, or equivalent by experience Strong command of French labour law and hands-on ownership of payroll (in-house or through an external provider) Solid experience of employee relations and social dialogue, including working with a CSE Experience in a standalone HR role or as first/sole HR on a site — or the demonstrated autonomy this requires Rigour, discretion and a hands-on mindset Fluent French and English Nice To Have Experience in the aerospace industry or another industrial / HSE-regulated environment Experience organising professional elections (pre-electoral agreement, ballot organisation) Experience in a fast-growing site or scale-up environment Experience in an international environment or within the French subsidiary of an international group Familiarity with Odoo (our HRIS)
