Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Software Tester to join our QA team in France. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing software applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring product quality before release. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates interested in software quality assurance and IT careers. 🎯
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases and document results
- Identify, report, and track software defects
- Work closely with developers to resolve issues
- Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution
- Perform regression, functional, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Maintain test documentation and reports
- Support automation testing initiatives (if applicable)
- Ensure software meets business and technical requirements 📌 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in software testing or QA (internships accepted)
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, Jira, or TestRail
- Basic knowledge of SQL or programming (Java, Python, etc.) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English ; French is a plus (less strict than support roles) ⭐ Nice to Have
- Exposure to automation testing
- Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies
- ISTQB certification (or in progress)
- Experience working on web or mobile applications 💼
