We want you to be a part of our team as a Senior Test Management Specialist. WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?
- Develop, maintain and contribute to test strategies, planning, processes, procedures and documentation.
- Review technical specifications and requirements, and develop test acceptance criteria and other test deliverables.
- Define the scope and approach of testing for products and releases in collaboration with Test Engineers and other stakeholders.
- Plan, control, monitor and report testing activities, including priorities, environments, tools and progress across involved parties.
- Prepare product-quality assessments by reviewing requirements and design documentation and by creating test scenarios, test cases and test data.
- Execute tests, assess outcomes and report product quality, problems and failures, proposing improvements where needed.
- Ensure effective defect management, including prioritization, root-cause analysis and follow-up.
- Use and develop test tools and automated tests to improve requirement coverage and enable fast, reliable execution.
- Perform API, database/SQL, UI and system-integration testing as relevant to the product.
- Work closely with project teams and stakeholders, clearly communicating test outcomes and quality risks. Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of relevant education (Master's degree).
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience for the nature of the tasks, including at least 6 years of relevant IT professional experience and at least 4 years of testing experience.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
- ITIL / ITIL V3 Foundation certification.
- Solid understanding of testing practices, standards and methods.
- Hands-on experience creating test approaches, plans, scenarios and test cases, and executing tests.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as qTest, TOSCA, JMeter and JIRA, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, Kreya or similar tools.
- Experience with databases and SQL, UI-based applications, automated tests and system-integration testing.
- Good experience with operating systems, especially Unix variants, RDBMS, networking concepts, containers and virtual environments.
- Understanding of complex high-availability IT systems and IT architectures, including complex enterprise system integration.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, work independently, collaborate across teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging/troubleshooting, reporting and defect-management skills.
- Understanding of project-management and support topics, including risks, issues, quality and action logs.
