Internship Details As a Systems and Platforms Service Intern at Proceedit, you will be an essential member of our System Unit, working on various aspects of systems, cloud infrastructure, networking, security, automation, and platform services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux/Ubuntu and Windows systems.
- Supporting the management and monitoring of cloud resources and systems.
- Working with AWS cloud services, including EC2/virtual machines, IAM, storage, and basic networking.
- Assisting with system and network configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Developing and maintaining automation scripts using Python and Bash.
- Working with Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Supporting containerized environments using Docker, Docker Images, and Docker Compose.
- Gaining hands-on exposure to Kubernetes and related technologies such as Helm, ArgoCD, and Nginx.
- Supporting CI/CD processes and automation using tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Assisting with Infrastructure as Code and automation using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Supporting monitoring and logging activities using technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
- Assisting with network-related tasks involving TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, routing, and load balancing.
- Supporting basic system and cloud security practices, including SSH, SSL/TLS, Linux permissions, access management, and secrets management.
- Assisting with troubleshooting infrastructure, system, networking, and service-related issues.
- Contributing to technical documentation and maintaining clear records of system configurations and procedures.
- Collaborating with developers, data engineers, and other technical teams. Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Good understanding of Linux/Ubuntu and Windows operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of Python.
- Basic scripting knowledge using Bash; PowerShell is a plus.
- Good understanding of operating systems and computer architecture.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, routing, and load balancing.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Basic knowledge and preferably some hands-on exposure to AWS and its associated services.
- Understanding of EC2/virtual machines, IAM, storage, networking, and basic cloud security concepts.
- Basic understanding of Docker, Docker Images, Docker Compose, and container lifecycle.
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Nginx.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Familiarity with SonarQube is a plus.
- Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform and Ansible, is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Exposure to virtualization technologies such as VMware, VirtualBox, or Hyper-V is a plus.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Passion for Cloud Computing, DevOps, automation, and learning new technologies.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and system management methodologies.
