Early-stage AI startup | Recently funded | Paris | Hybrid About the opportunity : A lean, technical team is building an AI platform for the finance / asset management space — a sector still heavily reliant on manual processes, spreadsheets, and disconnected tools. The company has already gained traction with major players in its market and is now scaling its core product. You'd join as one of the earliest engineers, with genuine ownership over both product direction and technical decisions — not just executing a roadmap handed down to you.

Responsibilities:

- Take features from concept to production across the full stack — frontend, backend, and AI layer
- Build and improve the infrastructure behind internal AI agents: context handling, tool integration, reliability, monitoring
- Turn complex financial workflows into fast, intuitive product experiences
- Contribute directly to architectural and technical decisions as the company scales
- Own what you ship, including measuring its impact after launch What we're looking for :
- 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience with strong frontend skills, ideally from fast-paced startup or scale-up environments
- Strong TypeScript expertise across Node.js (backend) and a modern frontend framework — Vue strongly preferred, React/Svelte fine with solid frontend experience
- Working proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Litestar, or similar)
- Comfortable with Postgres, REST/GraphQL APIs, and cloud infrastructure
- Genuine curiosity about agentic AI systems — no need for prior production experience with agents, but real interest in how LLMs behave at scale
- A self-starter mindset: you take initiative, ship fast, and iterate based on real outcomes
- Professional-level English (French is a plus, not required) Nice to have :
- Hands-on production experience with LLMs/agentic workflows: tool calling, RAG, evals, observability
- Background in finance, real estate, or B2B SaaS for institutional clients
- A clear point of view on agent architecture or evaluation-driven engineering
- Open-source contributions or side projects that reflect how you think : What's on offer :
