Responsibilities
- Define and implement the global Quality vision, strategy, and objectives in alignment with business goals
- Act as the voice of Quality at the executive level, representing the function internally and externally
- Guarantee robust in-process and final product quality control systems across all plants
- Drive statistical process control, problem solving (8D, QRQC), and corrective/preventive action systems
- Ensure suppliers deliver materials and components that meet company standards
- Drive a 'zero-defect' supplier strategy and foster long-term partnerships with key suppliers
- Ensure a 'One Company' interface for global key accounts, audits, and continuous improvement programs
- Drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and trust
- Embed Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Quality by Design into all new product development.
- Oversee validation, risk management (FMEA, DRBFM), and safe launch processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and certifications (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, etc.)
- Promote a Total Quality Management (TQM) culture across sites.
- Supervise audits and ensure timely closure of findings. Qualification
- 15 years of experience in Quality, preferably within the semiconductor, electronics, automotive or similar industry.
- Proven experience in Global Quality leadership across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels, combining a global overview with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to coach, challenge, and develop site quality managers, establish clear accountability, and driving performance.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage effectively with executive management while collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, Engineering, and Operations.
- Fluent in English; French is a plus
