BU CDMO is gathering more than 1000 employees based in 7 sites located in Europe and USA. It is a leading player in fast-growing CDMO market (ADC, Omega3…) with technology-driven differentiation such as chromatography, hazardous chemistry, cryogeny and flow chemistry

The industrial site of Chasse sur Rhône (20 min south of Lyon – served by train - 280 employees), is classified SEVESO 3 upper threshold and specializes in the development and custom production of active pharmaceutical ingredients.

Under the responsibility of the Site Director and as a member of the CODIR, you manage the industrialization department.

Thanks to your technical expertise, you are responsible from the quotation of new projects to the industrialization of new processes, in a constant spirit of continuous improvement.

More specifically, you evaluate all the technical files submitted by customers on new projects, you analyze the feasibility of the summaries, you develop and carry out the quotations relating to these new projects and/or to potential improvements on existing projects.

You participate in technical meetings with your customers and define the budgets allocated to each project. Thus, you organize the various actions necessary for the industrialization of the processes (determination of critical parameters, protocols and process validation reports, etc.) and you define, with the Production department, the resources necessary for the realization of these productions.

Your managerial skills allow you to manage your team of engineers and technicians and you know how to implement the necessary actions to promote their skills development.

Qualifications

:

Coming from a chemical engineer / chemical engineering background, you have a significant experience in the management and conduct of industrial projects, ideally within a CDMO. You are experienced in GMP environments and ensure compliance with HSE rules. You know the standards and procedures in force relating to the chemicals sector and you master the strategic and economic issues of the company.

Your in-depth knowledge of industrial transfer techniques gives you the ability to analyze each situation and you know how to adapt projects by integrating technological developments.

You are recognized for your managerial and educational qualities; your leadership allows you to unite your colleagues around projects, and your sense of priorities gives you the ability to make the right decisions at the right time.
