Fabric Maintenance Project Engineer

Key responsibilities:
Work within project teams to ensure Safety and efficiency is at the forefront of our deliverySupport the full spectrum of Altrad delivery including HSE, Quality, and Commercial outputs for allocated contracts.Support the Projects Managers with Allocated Projects scopes, including Scaffolding, Coatings and InsulationSupport project commercials and ensure financial performance of allocated ProjectsPrime duties & Responsibilities:
Safety
Drive the culture within allocated projects for HSE behaviours.Understand the company safety policy requirements, ensuring at all times the works are undertaken and maintained to the highest safety standardsEnsure that scopes under your control are reviewed and planned at a high level to ensure compliance with company and legislative requirementsPromote safe working practices and safety awareness through implementation of the HSEQ Plan, safety campaigns, safety meetings and briefingsEnsure that all equipment and working practices are planned to ensure complianceEnsure that all hazards are identified and assessed to mitigate risk exposure.Ensure that all corrective actions from accident / incident investigations / audits are closed out in an expedient mannerClient
Support Client Engagement for projectsRemain client focused at all times during project phases .Support development of operational plans in conjunction with client requirementsEnsure that all client expectations are deliveredFollow up client enquiries and demands promptlyCultivate and develop good relationsCommercial
Monitor the contract budgets and costsEnsure optimised performance of human resources to achieve performance targetsSupport negotiations with the Customer where any variations and changes to contract carry commercial implicationsOperations Support
Project management of allocated TasksSupport as required the planning of the contract and specific work scopesReview upcoming scopes with Site Foremen/ Supervisor to ensure preparednessCommunicate with site teams team goals and promote high standards of workmanshipEnsure all activities including those of sub-contractors are suitably managedEnsure provision of technical support to offshore and onshore teams across all disciplinesAttend contract kick-off and review meetingsLogistics Personnel and Training
Liaise with HR Team to assist in recruitment, induction and deployment of personnelEnsure that all appraisals are conducted for all staff / operatives / supervision under his control in accordance with company requirementsAttend any training and safety courses as instructed by the company.Ensure project Training is monitored and adequately controlled.Ensure that all client logistics requirements are fully met.Qualifications/Experience:
Proven experience of managing work scopes and planning activities.
Good working knowledge of core disciplines ie scaffolding, painting, insulation, passive fire protection and use of Rope Access TechniquesAppreciation of specialist disciplines i.e. Specialist Cleaning, Rigging and Lifting.APM Qualification PreferredLiaises With:
