Context
The position of Regional Business Intelligence head is a new role in the organisation. Reporting to the CFO, you will be in charge of creating new system of dashboards to monitor and analyse business performance at regional and local level, helping various stakeholders to monitor financial and operational performance.
The candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders across organization to develop performance tracking system matching evolving management requirements. He/She will use Tableau, SAP, SAP BW & Analysis as primary tools to collect and visualize data.
This is an important role in a growing and transforming regional function that should facilitate transition from purely local decentralized organisation to co-responsibility and unified regional approach to manage business.
You will lead BI system development for the region, impacting what data and in which format should be used by management every day to make business decision at country and regional level.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive regional Business Intelligence solution: connect existing sources of information (SAP; Sales Force; SAP BW and others) to create and maintain Tableau dashboards, visualizing essential data, covering all areas of business (manufacturing, supply chain, finance, commercial etc) to provide clear and actionable insights to senior management.
- Lead local business intelligence solutions development: collaborate, coach, train, lead local teams to develop, maintain and adopt Tableau as main BI solution and data visualization tool. Ensure aligned approach among the countries in and common KPIs guidelines to be followed by all countries of the region. Manage regional business intelligence environment and local access rights to data. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across local and regional levels of reporting, and across various business functions.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: work closely with corporate IT, finance, supply chain, technical and financial controlling, and other central functions to gather requirements, develop business intelligence tools, and ensure adoption of new reports, dashboard, guidelines, and practices. Ensure data availability to regional management team and function leads according to the needs and existing data restriction policies.
- Lead Business Analysis process: perform regular and ad-hoc analysis of financial and non-financial data to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth at regional and local level of organisation. Prepare executive reports and presentations by developing and presenting comprehensive reports and dashboards to the executive team, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Standardize Reporting Processes: develop and implement standardized reporting frameworks and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organization.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in reporting and analysis to enhance productivity and data accuracy.
- Support Strategic Planning: provide analytical support for the annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Manage Data Governance and Quality: ensure high data quality and integrity by establishing data governance frameworks and collaborating with IT and data management teams.
A successful candidate should bring strong analytical and technical core together with business acumen, communication, and project management skills to play an important role within growing and transforming environment, by owning the design of a new business intelligence solution that will support operational and strategic decision making.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as business intelligence expert, business analyst, controller, FP&A specialist.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of business processes and business analytics (operations, supply chain, finance, marketing, sales)
- Extensive experience in business analysis and reporting with strong expertise in data visualisation and business intelligence tools (Tableau expertise is must).
- Experience with SAP (S3 and S4-Hana) is essential for the role as SAP serves as main data source.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work efficiently with people from various levels of organisation, functions, and nationalities. Strong ability to make sense out of figures and present information in easy to absorb way to support data-driven decision making.
- Project management skills and experience. Ability to develop plan, engage team members, communicate goals, hold responsibility for on-time delivery and quality of result.
- Fluency in English is a must. Other European language is a plus.
- Autonomy, entrepreneurship, and responsibility.
