Rely, bridging the gap
John Cockerill and Technip Energies; two industrial leaders in the hydrogen market, announced the launch of Rely in November 2023, a unique provider of integrated and competitive green hydrogen solutions. Rely addresses the market for industrial and utility-scale projects with the ambition to reach a turnover of more than one billion euros by 2030.
Headquartered in Brussels, Rely is 60% owned by Technip Energies and 40% by John Cockerill and led by Damien Eyriès of Technip Energies as CEO and Jean Jouet of John Cockerill as CTO. Upon its creation, the new company will benefit from the services of more than 200 hydrogen specialists.
Innovation will be instrumental in breaking cost barriers and enabling rapid growth in green hydrogen markets for Rely. Through a unique research and development platform, which will bring technological improvements, new technologies and products, as well as better project profitability for the green hydrogen and power-to-X markets.
In concrete terms, you will be required to:
As part of your training at IFP School, we offer you an internship in the Rely Tendering & Estimating department. You will work in the field of the green hydrogen value chain as part of the costing of international projects.
As an Estimating Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Participate in the development of bid costs, including hours of service, material and construction costs. Participated in the review of these estimates and presentations with senior management. Participation in the enrichment of the benchmarking database. Participation in feedback on previous projects. Develop/update the tools used in the department in order to improve productivity through better automation.During this internship, you will be accompanied by a tutor to answer your various questions.
What if it was you?
Engineer: preferably, chemical engineering school, generalist or with IFPEN training Autonomous, dynamic and responsive, you have good communication skills and evolve with ease in a multicultural environment. You have a solid command of Excel. PBI is a plus.
