Key responsibilities ✨
As Head of Security , you will be responsible for: Define and implement the company's global security risk analysis and strategy to protect the enterprise and its platform Lead, empower, and mentor your security team to ensure the members are valued, motivated, and engaged. Ensure good collaboration with our Engineering Leaders and various stakeholders across the organization to contribute to shaping and guiding the broader product strategy, roadmaps, and designs Supervise IT security solutions, including intrusion prevention, antivirus software, and endpoint security. Lead vulnerability management and ensure company integrity against internal and external threats (IT SEC). Manage security audits, penetration tests, and responses to security incidents in collaboration with legal teams. Ensure compliance with current regulations and lead certification to an industry standard, such as ISO-27001 or SOC 2. Communicate and raise awareness of safety throughout the company.
About you
You have significant security experience, including at least 2 years in an equivalent role. An experience in payment security is a real plus. Proven experience in implementing security frameworks, policies, and procedures. Especially in compliance management and security audits (e.g. ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2). Strong ability to effectively communicate security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. You are comfortable collaborating with engineering people with a high degree of autonomy. Strong understanding of Malt business and associated risks.
