Maintenance Technician 1st shift

As a dynamic, future oriented, essential company, we are always looking for new talent to join our team We are looking for a full time second shift  Maintenance Technician  who will be responsible of ensuring maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of grounds, facilities, and manufacturing equipment is functioning in a safe effective manner. What You Will Do: Ensures safe operation of machinery, mechanical and electrical systems by completing maintenance and preventive maintenance requirements, following diagrams, blueprints, electrical schematics, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions and written PM instructions. Locates sources of problems by troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in operation. Makes repairs to various types of systems including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic. Uses rules, calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools and various other tools to get the job done quickly and safely. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. Ability to use computer systems to troubleshoot PLC controls or the ability to learn such practices. Work with Manufacturing Engineering to complete in-house projects both mechanically and electrically including the building of electrical panels from provided schematics. General fabrication skills, some welding. Conserve’s maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Any other work assigned as needed. Other duties as assigned. What We Are Looking For: Must be able to identify, inspect and repair equipment. Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. Constant need for the accurate exchange of information through an intercom, computer, and in-person Constantly moves safely about the building to conduct business. Frequently needs to ascend/descend ladders and position self under machine. Frequently works in non-air-conditioned space. Frequently positions and transports 45 lb. of equipment.
