Coating Supervisor
Altrad Services is a leading provider of industrial services, specializing in fabric maintenance, access solutions, and asset integrity. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fabric Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at the Sullom Voe Oil and Gas Terminal. This role is integral to our commitment to delivering high-quality services in the challenging and dynamic energy sector.
Responsibilities:
Supervision and Coordination:
Oversee and coordinate all aspects of coating activities within the terminal, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.Lead and manage a team of coating technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.Quality Assurance:
Ensure the proper application of coatings on various surfaces, including pipelines, tanks, and other equipment.Project Planning:
Collaborate with project managers to develop coating plans and schedules.Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to meet project timelines.Material Management:
Oversee the procurement, storage, and proper handling of coating materials.Maintain inventory control and ensure adequate supplies are available for ongoing projects.Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.Implement and promote environmentally friendly coating practices.Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Proven experience in coating operations, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role within the oil and gas industry.ICORR or NACE Level 1 or above certification.Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of various coating techniques, materials, and equipment.Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to coatings.Previous SVT Experience:
