MUFG Securities (Europe) N.V. is the European Union investment banking entity of MUFG, and operates in close partnership with its direct parent MUS(EMEA), the UK investment banking subsidiary of MUFG and MUFG Bank ltd. to provide financial intermediation between corporate and institutional clients. What To Expect

The candidate will be part of the Capital Market Solutions team and gain an in-depth understanding of our clients, the industries in which they operate and how the bank helps support both their growth aspirations and day-to-day banking requirements. As part of the Capital Markets Solutions Team you will be focused on Liability Management, ESG and Hybrid capital. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in the following activities:

Deal origination and execution across a diverse range of product areas

Develop a strong understanding of market fundamentals and be able to make market-informed contributions on a broad array of financing strategies that address clients’ specific needs

Work with sales teams and traders in Global Markets to coordinate and manage live deal executions, and liaise with Global Research to stay informed on the latest market developments

have a strong interest in financial markets

have excellent communication & interpersonal skills

Fluency in English is essential for all roles and a second European language would be a huge plus given the pan-European role

have high levels of motivation and integrity

Team-work, leadership and problem-solving skills, plus creativity are key qualities, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and interact with a variety of people

Candidates are required to be pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and preferably be in their penultimate or final year of study
