Role and Missions — What you will doAs the Head of Ad Monetization at Homa, you will own the ad monetization strategy for our entire game portfolio, ensuring that we strike the right balance between revenue generation and player retention. Your leadership will directly influence how players interact with ads in our games, and you will collaborate across teams to drive results.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll lead a team of specialists, working together to push the boundaries of mobile game monetization. If you’re passionate about optimizing ad experiences and driving meaningful revenue growth, Homa is the perfect place for you to thrive
Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:
- Ad Monetization Strategy: Take full ownership of defining and implementing a robust ad monetization strategy that maximizes revenue without compromising the player experience. Your goal will be to seamlessly integrate ads into gameplay, maintaining engagement and satisfaction.
- Ad Inventory Optimization: Oversee the placement, frequency, and types of ads (rewarded, interstitial, banners, etc.) within our games. Your ability to optimize ad inventory will be crucial to driving revenue while ensuring the ads complement the gameplay.
- Partnership and Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with ad networks, mediation platforms, and other third-party partners. You'll lead negotiations, test new ad formats, and troubleshoot any issues to continually enhance our ad strategy.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data and analytics to track performance metrics such as eCPM, fill rate, and ARPDAU. Use these insights to drive constant optimization and ensure our ad monetization efforts are aligned with business goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data, user acquisition and product teams to integrate ad placements seamlessly into gameplay. Your collaborative approach will ensure ad strategies align with our overall product vision and player experience goals.
- Experimentation and Innovation: Run A/B tests and other experiments to refine ad placement strategies, formats, and creatives. Your willingness to innovate will be key to finding the most effective ad configurations for each of our games.
Requirements
If you’re creative, ambitious, and up for taking over the industry, we want you on our team We are also looking for:
- Ad Monetization Expertise: At least 4 years of hands-on experience with mobile ad models (rewarded, interstitials, banners) and mediation platforms like AdMob or IronSource. You know the intricacies of monetizing mobile games.
- Leadership & Collaboration Skills: You’ve managed ad monetization teams, led ad strategies, and worked cross-functionally with product, design, and user acquisition teams to align monetization efforts with overall business goals.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Proven ability to analyze key monetization metrics such as eCPM, fill rate, and ARPDAU, and optimize performance to drive revenue growth.
- Ad Networks & Programmatic Savvy: Strong familiarity with ad networks, real-time bidding, waterfall management, and programmatic strategies to enhance ad performance.
- A/B Testing & Optimization Expertise: Extensive experience running A/B tests to determine optimal ad configurations, placements, and creatives, ensuring continuous improvement in monetization performance
- Game Design Awareness: You understand how to seamlessly integrate ads into gameplay without disrupting the player experience and can collaborate with game design teams to do so.
