Where is thisrole within Axens?

Our Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions Department isresponsible for identifying issues related to the ecological transition,medium/long-term market trends as well as future areas of activity for Axens inorder to develop the company's strategy and to carry out the appropriateM&A actions. In this context, the Strategy, M&A department is calledupon to define the orientations of the company's Climate strategy and ensuresits management.

What’s yourmission?

You will thus contributein an active and privileged way to the definition and management of Axens' Climate strategy and you will becalled upon to collaborate with various entities of the Axens Group (technicaland industrial experts, sales, purchasing, factories in France and abroad,etc.).

Which are yourchallenges?

• You carry out environmentalassessments to inform and implement the Axens Group's Climate Strategy;strategy deployed on scopes 1, 2 and 3 of the Group but also oriented towardshelping to decarbonize its ecosystem (calculation of avoided emissions using a life cycle approach)
• You carry out and supervise Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) studies
• You developinternal methods and tools to assessthe environmental impacts related tothe Axens Group's offer,
• You contribute to raising the awareness of Axens employees on environmental analysis (productcarbon footprint, LCA, corporate carbon footprint),
• You provide supportto the technical and commercial teams to answer questions from customersand other stakeholders relating to the environmental performance of the Group'soffer.

What’s your contribution to the role?

• You hold a Master’s Degree from an EngineeringSchool or University
• You have a minimum of 3 years' experience inenvironmental assessment, preferably working on transport, energy and industrysectors / systems.
• You demonstrate a good command of methodologies andtools for environmental analysis (especially Life Cycle Analysis and carbonfootprint).
• You are familiar with frameworks and standards suchas GHG Protocol corporate standard, SBTi or Net Zero Initiative (NZI)

• You are recognized for your ability to identify,synthesize and challenge the key elements of a complex whole as well as foryour intellectual curiosity.
• You will also be able to demonstrate your writingand presentation skills, in both English and French. Fluent Englishis required for the position
