Job Description
Upskills provides expert financial software consulting for investment banks and leading financial institutions in Asia Pacific, Middle East and Europe region. With a strong, Front to Back expertise of the cash and derivatives markets, coupled to an in-deep knowledge of financial markets technologies, we provide smart, business-wise and efficient solutions.
We are seeking a highly motivated Murex Senior Front Office Consultant with good knowledge & experience in FX Cash and FO Murex Module. As a  Senior Front Office Consultant at Upskills France, you will have a great chance to practice including but not limited to:
  • Analyze business processes and functional requirements, perform gap analysis between existing and required solution to drive the delivery of relevant user requirements documentation.
  • Work hands on with Murex Front Office to configure and test to ensure business requirements are met. 
  • Liaise with customers to scope, gather, review, and implement their Front Office business/ functional requirements. 
  • Work with the users to test, achieve signoff (UAT), and move the system toward go-live. 
  • Closely work with the Stream Lead to manage customer expectations on timelines
  • Support clients with the development of their own internal project plan, including the identification of key setup and configuration tasks, scope considerations, timeline, etc.
  • Responsible for training users on basic use of the system, new functionality, etc.
  • Assist in system integration, data migration and implementation.


Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master Degree, preferably from Financial Engineering, Applied Finance, Computer Science or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of Murex Front Office experience working in the capital markets industry. 
  • Strong working experience on Murex Front Office (Pricing, Simulation, Pretrade)
  • Strong knowledge & functional experience in at least 2 asset classes. E.g. FX MM, IRD, EQD
  • Experience in the implementation and support of a Front office system within a bank.
  • Experience writing functional and business specifications with the ability to map conceptual financial and business elements to practical system capabilities. 
  • Able to work in a team environment, focused on providing high quality of service to the client. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to handle priorities and manage business expectations
  • Strong and demonstrable problem solving/ analytical skills.
