The Project Operations Business Division (POP) is looking for an apprenticeto support the Engineering department, Mechanical group

Missions :

You will be part of our Mechanical Teams, you will be focused on CFDfluid mechanics simulations to improve various equipment, such as internals, reactors,gas/liquid separators … in the market of gas or petroleum refining,petrochemical, alternatives and renewables biofuels.
The numerical simulation will allow testing different internal systems,calculating their efficiency and robustness in the various operatingconditions.


You will be required to work on various subjects for industrial needsand will have to concretely:

Manage to have solid modeling CAD design performed by draftman (or better, do it yourself) using SolidWorks Import and mesh these designs, then perform CFD simulations with mainly Simscape or Fluent, and use Paraview for post-processing Study the sensitivity of input parameters Imagine improvements and repeat the calculation then interpret the results obtained Synthesis efforts will be required to present and promote the results to the applicants. Argue and expose the optimal configuration
In addition, you may be required to perform mechanical calculation noteswith Excel software. Profile :

You have a baccalaureate level +2/+3 years and are preparing for an engineeringdegree in Mechanical Engineering or Generalist, or equivalent.
You have strong knowledge of fundamentals of fluid mechanics, mechanicaldesign and are comfortable with reading drawings.
Your level of English is very good and allows you to conductprofessional exchanges and understand the documentation.
You are comfortable with Microsoft Office components and proficient withExcel
You are recognized for your willingness to learn, organization,curiosity and interpersonal skills
