Axens Purchasing department is a Business Partner. Its main mission is to find reliable and sustainable external resources (suppliers, partners, subcontractors) at the best overall cost, under the expected quality and time conditions, in order to provide the necessary support to the Business Divisons in their operational activities, as well as their strategic development.

**Missions**:
We are looking for a Junior Buyer

You will be part of the Purchasing department, based in Rueil Malmaison, working under the responsability of the “New Developments and Innovation” Lead Buyer.

Your main mission will be to participate in optimizing the portfolio ( services and chemicals compounds) in terms of cost, quality, services and lead-time.

You will:

- Issue calls for bids, select suppliers, negotiate conditions at the best overall cost, and implement contracts
- Developp supplier relationships, handle complaints and implement corrective actions, monitor global suppliers performance.
- In collaboration with R&D, carry out the necessary sourcing for innovation development.
- Monitor markets to capture trends

**Profil**:

- You are student in Purchasing, you are curious, rigorous and open to the world and you are seeking to work in an international industrial environment.
- You are proactive with good listening and communication skills
- Fluent in English.
