We are looking for a Head of Logistics Operations to come onboard in our Customers Support and Services Directorate in Julien’s team : a team of 23 collaborators
Your Mission
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead a team of Logistics Operations Managers responsible for overseeing worldwide logistics operations related to spare parts activities and managing contracts with service providers.
Management of the Logistics Services providers (LSPs) :
- Manage LSPs for warehouse, transport and customs, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and performance metrics (SLAs, OTD, OQD, claims, cost, activity continuity and volume, training…)
- Oversee logistics standard operating procedures, purchase order creation and invoice approval
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize costs and efficiency, collaborating with LSPs on improvement plans and investments.
- Manage change requests and new work specifications, leading the call for tenders in relation with Procurement department
Logistics Operations Management :
- Define and deploy warehouse strategy (storage type depending typologie/volume of spares…)
- Ensure stock accuracy and act as the logistics focal point for external inventory auditors
- Define and deploy transport generic instructions and support internal stakeholders to organize or manage transport of spare parts (quotation, route set-up, customs…)
- Collaborate with internal customers to analyze process inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement
- Provide logistics support for internal development projects and promote green logistics initiatives.
Deployment of Logistics Industrial Tools :
- Deploy and manage logistics industrial tools, including TMS (Transport Management System), WMS (Warehouse Management System), IT interfaces (EDI), logistic equipment (WiFi guns, printers, racking, packaging solutions...), and digital dashboards necessary for activity management.
About you
- Advanced degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- Experience :
- Logistics Management: Proven experience in logistics operations management preferably in the aviation/aerospace industry. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Project Management: experience in managing logistics projects, from planning and implementation to monitoring and evaluation, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project objectives.
- Team Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Technical skills / knowledge
- IT Proficiency: Familiarity with logistics management systems, including TMS (Transport Management System), WMS (Warehouse Management System), EDI way of working (xml file exchange, webservice…), as well as proficiency in MS Office applications, SAP R3 WM/MM modules, SAP BW and Power Bi.
- Contract Management: Experience in managing contracts with logistics service providers, ensuring adherence to SLAs and performance metrics.
- Logistics skills: Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in logistics, including customs regulations, IATA guidelines, and environmental considerations.
- Soft skills
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners in English and in French (Italian is a plus)

Nous recherchons un Responsable des Opérations Logistiques pour rejoindre notre Direction Support et Services au sein de l'équipe de Julien : une équipe de 23 collaborateurs
Votre mission
Leadership et Gestion d'Équipe
- Diriger une équipe de Responsables des Opérations Logistiques chargés de superviser les opérations logistiques mondiales liées aux activités de pièces de rechange et de gérer les contrats avec les prestataires de services.
Gestion des Prestataires de Services Logistiques (LSP) :
- Gérer les LSP pour l'entrepôt, le transport et la douane, en veillant au respect des accords contractuels et des indicateurs de performance (SLAs, OTD, OQD, réclamations, coûts, continuité de l'activité et volume, formation…)
- Superviser les procédures opérationnelles standard de la logistique, la création de bons de commande et l'approbation des factures
- Mener des initiatives d'amélioration continue pour optimiser les coûts et l'efficacité, en collaborant avec les LSP sur les plans d'amélioration et les investissements.
- Gérer les demandes de changement et les nouvelles spécifications de travail, en menant l'appel d'offres en relation avec le département des Achats.
Gestion des Opérations Logistiques :
- Définir et déployer la stratégie d'entrepôt (type de stockage en fonction de la typologie/volume des pièces de rechange...)
- Garantir l'exactitude des stocks et agir en tant que point focal logistique pour les auditeurs externes des inventaires
- Définir et déployer les instructions génériques de transport et soutenir les parties prenantes internes pour organiser ou gérer le transport des pièces de rechange (devis, configuration des itinéraires, douane…)
- Collaborer avec les clients internes pour analyser les inefficacités des processus et promouvoir l'amélioration continue
- Fournir un soutien logistique pour les projets de développement interne et promouvoir des initiatives de logistique verte.
Déploiement des Outils Industriels Logistiques :
- Déployer et gérer les outils industriels logistiques, y compris le TMS (Transport Management System), le WMS (Warehouse Management System), les interfaces informatiques (EDI), l'équipement logistique (pistolets WiFi, imprimantes, rayonnages, solutions d'emballage...), et les tableaux de bord numériques nécessaires à la gestion de l'activité.
A propos de vous
- Etudes en gestion de la chaîne d'approvisionnement, en logistique ou dans un domaine connexe.
- Expérience
- Gestion Logistique : Expérience avérée en gestion des opérations logistiques, de préférence dans l'industrie de l'aviation/aérospatiale. Capacité à travailler sous pression et à gérer plusieurs priorités dans un environnement rapide.
- Gestion de Projet Logistique : expérience dans la gestion de projets logistiques, de la planification à la mise en œuvre en passant par le suivi et l'évaluation, garantissant une livraison en temps opportun et répondant aux objectifs du projet.
- Leadership d'Équipe : Capacité à diriger et à motiver une équipe de professionnels de la logistique, en favorisant un environnement de travail collaboratif et performant.
- Compétences non techniques
- Communication : Excellentes compétences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles, avec la capacité à collaborer efficacement avec les parties prenantes internes et externes en anglais et en français.
- Maîtrise de l'anglais et du français (l'italien est un plus)
