We are currently seeking an experienced IT Technician to join our team at Belmond. In our modern organization, we rely on efficient and reliable IT services. We are looking for a candidate who can listen to our needs, evaluate them, provide advice, and deliver effective solutions to meet the daily business challenges.

Key responsibilities for the IT Technician role:

Manage IT issues reported by users, both employees and guests, and collaborate with vendors for timely resolutions Maintain the functionality of services by restoring them when necessary or coordinating with relevant parties for remediation in compliance with service level agreements Maintain an up-to-date and accurate user list for all relevant systems, performing monthly cross-verification of active employees with user lists in different systems and enabling/disable user access accordingly Perform monthly security and compliance checks as defined by management to ensure adherence to corporate policies Install and configure IT assets in collaboration with the IT Manager, managing standard changes and higher-level requests Provide technical support to customers or groups as needed

Requirements

Requirements for the IT Technician role:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a high school diploma with experience in the IT field Knowledge of architectural and infrastructural concepts of Microsoft Windows environment, Active Directory, and related services Good understanding of TCP/IP network fundamentals Proficient in spoken and written English, & French with the ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues from different locations Organizational skills and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines set by the manager Prior experience in computer hardware maintenance

In addition to these qualifications, the ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and end-users.
