Summary of the role

Airport IT is a key strategic growth area of Amadeus. We are strongly committed to ambitious growth plans for this division which aim to provide Airport Operational solutions to the segments of Airports Authorities, Airlines, and Ground Handlers 

The Airport IT - Delivery Manager is a key position that mobilizes line organizations to assure delivery of Amadeus commitments in line with customer expectations.

The role of the Airport IT - Delivery Manager is to provide quality and consistency of on-going delivery for Airport IT products and services for our Ground Handling customers. Additionally, the role acts as the expert entry point to provide specialist knowledge and expertise on Amadeus products and solutions.

You will use your excellent communication skills to build rapport with our customers.
As a key member of the 'Extended Account Team' the Airport IT - Delivery Manager will ensure Amadeus achieves the agreed consistency of service to customers and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.

In this role you will

Understand the vision around Airport IT and apply it to delivery management

Understand customer business, strategy, and challenges to ensure prioritization of deliveries in line with customer's needs

Develop existing relationships with both IT & Business executives at the appropriate functional & operational level to reinforce & sustain strategic partnership

Advocate for customers internally, through prioritization process, to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction

Facilitate the transition from implementation project to customer management phase by being involved during the project phase to ensure an efficient hand-over

Obtain committed delivery timescales internally, communicate accordingly to Customer: ensure adherence to the plan & follow up on delivery timelines

Provide regular dashboard on deliverables to customer in coordination with Account Manager and supporting teams

Lead regular meetings with customer, and attend/lead Delivery Bi-lateral meetings

Ensure that delivered solution or service to customer corresponds to the agreed (contractual) scope and facilitates that customer benefits from its full capability

Ensure and facilitate high degree of interaction with Extended Account Team, Product Management and Post-Implementation Management

Actively share account information within the Extended Account Team and with other stakeholders

Collaborate to knowledge creation, sharing and maintenance with commercial support teams

Identify, share and re-use functional best practices, experiences, and lessons learned within Airport IT

Skills required for the role:

Excellent communication and presentation skills

High degree of autonomy and structured work approach

Able to multi-task, and to work to tight deadlines

About the ideal candidate

Degree educated in IT/Business Administration/Sales & Marketing or equivalent field experience

Airport IT, Ground Handler, Airline and Travel industry experience

Delivery management/Project/Program Manager experience preferably in the Airport industry

Advanced PC skills

Skilled in the Office Suite

Altéa GUI experience is preferable

Fluency in English (written & spoken), additional languages would be an asset

Excellent communication and presentation skills; capable of interfacing with customers at all levels

Ability to build credibility and to maintain good relationships with customers whilst preserving Amadeus' interests
