Technical Deployment Apprentice

Job Summary

Based in Paris, work with a global team responsible for the end-to-end delivery in relation to new customer deployment portfolio. The intern will have the opportunity to learn from a high performing local project management team working across a number of different projects in Paris and Bordeaux. The intern will also have the opportunity to see first hand the construction & deployment and of colocation and hyperscale data center projects.

Responsibilities

Supporting Technical Deployment Management Team and Operations Project Management Team in relation to:

Project management from customer contract signature to customer handover

Vendor Relations

Support construction team during new Data Center/hyperscale construction

Budget Management

Policy & Procedure Application

Qualifications

A Bachelors degree in project management and /or Data Center environment or similar.

Eagerness to learn off the people around them.

Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint.

Strong communication skills

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college, in your penultimate year of your bachelor’s or master’s degree studies

Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business proficiency in English & French

Ability to create accurate and punctual reports, deliver presentations, and share information and ideas with others 

Analytically driven and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package and aptitude to learn new software

Equinix recrute un/une Technical Deployment Apprentice pour un de nos sites basés en région parisienne (Courbevoie, Saint-Denis, Pantin, Aubervilliers)

En tant que Technical Deployment Apprentice vous travaillez sur de véritables défis commerciaux : Vous serez affecté(e) à un projet et travaillerez directement avec des équipes pour acquérir une expérience professionnelle réelle et contribuer à l'activité et avoir un impact sur le monde numérique.

Basé(e) à Paris, vous travaillerez avec une équipe mondiale chargée de la livraison de bout en bout en ce qui concerne le déploiement de nouveaux clients. L’apprenti(e) aura l'occasion d'apprendre auprès d'une équipe de gestion de projet locale performante travaillant sur différents projets à Paris et à Bordeaux. L’apprenti(e) aura également l'occasion de voir la construction et le déploiement de projets de centres de données, de colocation et d’hyperscale.

Soutien à l'équipe de gestion de projet client, Technical Deployment Management (TDM) et à l'équipe Operation Project Management (OPM) en ce qui concerne :

• La gestion de projet, de la signature du contrat avec le client à la remise du projet au client

• Les relations avec les fournisseurs

• Le soutien à l'équipe design & construction lors de la construction de nouveaux centres de données IBX/hyperscale

• La gestion budgétaire

• L'application des politiques et procédures

• Vous êtes étudiant(e) en école d’ingénieur ou équivalent avec une appétence pour la chefferie de projet et/ou l’environnement de centre de données ou domaine similaire.

• Un désir d'apprendre auprès des personnes qui les entourent.

• Une maîtrise des outils Microsoft, Excel et Powerpoint.

• De bonnes compétences en communication.

• Capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches et à travailler de manière collaborative et efficace.

• Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et verbale, maîtrise de l'anglais et du français dans un contexte professionnel.

 • Capacité à créer des rapports précis et ponctuels, à faire des présentations et à partager des informations et des idées avec les autres.

• Esprit analytique et souci du détail, connaissance pratique de la suite Microsoft Office et aptitude à apprendre de nouveaux logiciels.
