CVs have to be sent in English for this internship in our R&D center at Ansys Lyon, as the management team reviewing candidates is international. Applicants considered will need to study at an engineering school or university in France, at master level and be available for the 6 month duration of this internship.
The intern will work closely with the fracture development team and a specific customer in validating and benchmarking the SMART crack growth functions. She or he will need to develop finite element models, run Ansys software, find analytic or numerical solutions as needed and process the results for the comparison and validation. The intern will get an opportunity to interact with Ansys global leaders. The internship will begin between February and April 2025 with a duration of 6 months.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Currently studying at a master level degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in numerical simulation Experience with any FEA tool Deep understanding of structural analysis with Finite Element method Strong theoretical background and equations writing skills Sharp and tenacious problem-solving skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
