Within the scope of the Presbyopia & Near Vision Management Category, as Category Innovation Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing the products and services innovation strategy of a sub-domain of the category. You will build and maintain a 3-year strategic plan, initiate new concepts, launch new offers and manage the life cycle of the portfolio offers.
Your responsibilities will be to:
Define the innovation strategy, monitor and update the 3 years plan of the Category sub domain considered thanks to internal collaboration with R&D, Marketing, Operations, Medical Affairs, Intellectual Property and Legal teams, external partnerships with universities and other companies, Products (internal & from competition), markets, customers and consumers insights
Support Innovation Managers in the evaluation and the validation of consumers desirability, commercial viability, technical feasibility of an innovation concept identified in the 3 year strategic plan
Lead innovation loops to provide new ideas (products & services), ensure communication and reporting of the portfolio management to top managers and main stakeholders, guarantee consumers / technical / business knowledge for the sub-domain considered and pilot the associated knowledge sharing.
Candidate Profile
An advanced degree in science and/or business discipline with at least 10 years’ experience directly related to products and/or services is required.
Able to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and from a wide and complex array of disciplines at all levels of the company, including R&D, Marketing, Key Accounts, Sales, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply chain, Purchasing, Customer Service, Legal, etc.
Comfortable in a highly international and multicultural work environment, appeal to develop network.
Able to organize and synthesize thoughts to make clear and convincing presentations to executive level management.
Excellent level of English; French is a plus.
