TD Supervisor

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, you will manage teams of technical experts in digital creation.

In collaboration with the technical project management teams (e.g. program manager), you organize and ensure the implementation of the team structure.

You are the direct manager of the team's Leads.

‍

You deploy the strategic technology roadmap defined by the CTO, and build the tactical roadmap for the TD teams, drawing on the team's technical expertise.

‍

You guarantee project support needs by anticipating and resolving problems and maximizing return on investment.

‍

In liaison with manufacturing managers and production teams, you support these teams.

MAIN TASKS

Tactical manager for TD teamsResponsible for team performance and results. Proposes and ensures compliance with TD team methods.Deploys the team's strategic technological roadmap in line with the objectives set by the CTO.

Propose a budget and the human resources needed to achieve the objectives setMakes autonomous decisions for his/her teams, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and departmental objectivesCommunicates a clear and inspiring vision of strategic objectives and prioritiesIdentifies and finds solutions to problems and risks likely to hinder the achievement of objectivesAnticipates and resolves conflicts Accompanies team salary discussions in collaboration with department management and HR department supportEncourages team members to take initiative and implement new ideas/projectsPlays an active role in the team's professional developmentHandles team conflicts constructivelyMakes suggestions on the organization and evolution of the team structure

SKILLS REQUIRED

Hard skills

Mastery of an animation studio's production chain

Mastery of current DCCs such as Maya, Nuke, Photoshop, ...

Comfortable with a production tracking tool such as Shotgrid

Knowledge of current development methods

Knowledge of Python (2 and 3)

Technology watch in the film industry and new technologies

Fluency in English
