We are seeking a dynamic (Junior) Social Media Producer to join our marketing team and spearhead our social media content creation efforts with a special focus on TikTok and Instagram.
Your goal - and ours - is to further our mission: promote a circular economy and make second-hand the first choice for consumers in Switzerland. As a vital member of our team, you will become one of the key faces in our French-speaking social media channels and play a pivotal role in engaging our audience across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate loves the camera: both standing in front of it and holding it to record others.
Responsibilities:
- Create compelling video and image content for our social media channels in French, which cater primarily to our French-speaking audience in Romandie (western Switzerland).
- Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit video content, including but not limited to trend videos, tutorials, product showcases etc.
- Develop visually appealing graphics and images to accompany social media posts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with overall brand strategy and messaging.
- Monitor social media trends and incorporate them into our content strategy.
- Engage with our French-speaking audience in Romandie (western Switzerland) through comments, messages, and live interactions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media features, algorithms, and best practices.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Proficiency in French (written and spoken) is mandatory
- Strong command of the English language (written and spoken)
- A basic grasp of German is advantageous
- Fearless attitude towards appearing on camera and comfortable with public speaking
- Proficient in video and image editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, etc.)
- Creative thinker with excellent storytelling skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Passion for social media and a keen interest in staying ahead of industry trends
