We are seeking for a permanent contract a talented and highly motivated Senior Expert Drug Design Medicinal Chemistry to join our oncology group located at Toulouse (Oncopole, 31).
Missions:
Provide state of the art expertise in structure-based drug design for diverse target class Contribute, with external partners, to elaborations of target drugging strategy and medicinal chemistry plans to deliver high quality drug candidates Monitor and evaluate emerging innovative approaches and technologies in the field of small molecule drug discovery Identify potential external partners or CROs to drive Drug Discovery portfolio progression Contribute to new target proposal Participate in due diligence for potential acquisitionThe location of the position will be Toulouse, with high flexibility in terms of commuting from France/Europe and home office.
Who you are ?
PhD in medicinal chemistry with 10 years of drug discovery experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment Excellent understanding of structural biology, pharmacology, DMPK and ability to integrate these disciplines for project progression Demonstrated track record as medicinal chemistry leader in drug discovery projects for diverse target class Successful experience in structure-based drug design Excellent English written and oral, presentation and communication skills Great leadership skills and experience working in dynamic multidisciplinary environment. Prior experience with ADCs would be a plus.-
